  • Colour Finishing

Every colour finished QETTLE Signature is unique. The colours – brass, gunmetal, matte black and copper – are achieved by colouring each, individual part of the tap using a highly specialised PVD process.

Colour finishing our QETTLE Signature taps is a small-batch, dedicated process that can incur a wait time of up to 6 weeks. But the final result – a lustrous, completely individual and durable finish – won’t fail to turn heads.

What does this mean?

Don’t worry if it’s a tight squeeze between your tap and wall, splashback or windowsill. If there’s less than 10cm between the centre of your tap hole and the wall, selecting a progressive valve will solve the problem.

The valve will allow your QETTLE’s lever handle to function by being moved forwards and outwards only, and the hot/cold markings on the handle will also change position. We're unable to use a progressive valve on the boiling/filtered side of any tap, therefore one of your lever handles on the Signature Classic will be replaced with a button.

Chilled or Ambient Filtered Water

Great-tasting filtered drinking water whenever you need it. How you have your filtered water is up to you - just as it comes or refreshingly chilled to typically 4°C with the addition of a QETTLE Chiller.

Chilled Water Checklist

1. Ensure your cupboard has enough space for a QETTLE Chiller. Our chiller measures (H)370 x (W)180 x (D)320mm and most 600mm wide kitchen cupboards will have enough room for it to sit next to your boiler tank.

2. A QETTLE Chiller requires plenty of ventilation. We recommend drilling 3-4 holes into the back of your cabinet and/or a simple ventilation grille into your kitchen plinth.

3. Like your boiler tank, your new chiller will need its own plug socket in the cupboard (no extension leads, please!)

The QETTLE Chiller is designed to cool the flow of filtered drinking water from your QETTLE, typically to a refreshing 4°C. With a capacity of 1.2 litres, it can dispense up to 9 litres of chilled water per hour, and refilling takes just 15 minutes. Installing the QETTLE Chiller is simple and it fits nicely under your sink alongside the QETTLE boiler tank.
